As I wrap up my senior year of high school, I have a lot of questions about my next four years ahead of me. For the past eighteen years of my life I feel like I have lived in a bubble where I have total control. When it comes to my faith life, I have always had so much support to keep my relationship with God on the right track. I went to a Catholic grade school, Catholic high school, and my family consists of some very profound Catholics. Growing up in this environment I feel like I have a strong base for my faith and that my relationship with God is indestructible. However, when I think about starting college in a couple of months I start to worry. For the first time in my life I won’t be in my perfect bubble where I am constantly taught to be proud of my faith and told that I can accomplish all things with God’s help. I know my faith will be tested a lot and the journey won’t be easy. I pray that instead of losing my faith in college like many do, that I am able to take my strong base from the first eighteen years of my life and grow it to be even stronger. I'm excited to start my new journey of faith in college because I know these next years are very important in terms of my personal growth in my relationship with God.
