Many people who consider themselves “Christians” or children of God believe that it is our actions or the way we carry ourselves that makes us His children. Or that we can save ourselves by portraying a certain image. But only Jesus saves. And God is all knowing. So no matter how people dress it up, God knows the hearts of each and every one of His children. That being said, these are some of the disciples listed in the Bible and we see that they were ordinary people. Nothing special. But they were special to God, and so he called them according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28) Never judge a book by its cover. Because what’s garbage to this world, is a diamond to God. Thank you Jesus for washing away our sins and making us anew! as children of God we must remember that yes we are in this world but no we are not of this world. Allow Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and God, The Father, to make you anew!
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
