Look For Jesus

In middle school, life can be extremely chaotic, especially in these unprecedented times. Going from school, to soccer, to basketball, going home, showering, doing homework, and then finally going to sleep can be tiring. Continuously rushing from one thing to another can be overwhelming, causing the most important thing in our lives to be lost, Jesus. As we fall into this everyday routine, finding time for the Lord may seem to be complicated. Only truly devoting time to the Lord and recognizing what he does for us when we need Him isn’t enough. I find myself constantly falling into this hole the devil is digging.

Jesus is always in our lives and it is vital that we recognize his presence. Although, as it seems that we need to devote much time into seeking Him, it doesn't need to be anything special. For example, as I was walking into school today, I heard the same police officer who tells me everyday to have a good day. Also, as it is not always people Jesus uses to display His love for us, the birds singing, or the leaves changing colors are also examples of the mini miracles He provides for us in everyday life.

We need to look for these signs of Jesus no matter where we are because He is everywhere and is always with us. Even if it is your worst day and everything is going wrong, He is still with us. It is our part to search for Him because He is our resting spot and in Him we can and will find peace and love.

We need to seek His love and seek His presence if willing to strengthen our relationship with the Lord. Through the good, the bad, and even the little things, Jesus is with us and asking us to lay our burdens on Him. He wants us to rely on Him and come to Him with our troubles, so we need to accept His call and recognize the blessings He places upon us.

Although it may be challenging to accept this call and look to Him in all moments of our life, we need to remind ourselves of the important things in life and what we are working towards.
